ISB PICKUP: The ultimate engineering upgrade for 24-valve turbo-diesels, PowerPack marries Banks High-Ram air-inlet casting and the highest OttoMind Tuner calibration to the Stinger-Plus system. With additional airflow and boost available to the intake valves through this final improvement, Banks calibrates the OttoMind features to reshape air and fuel curves for maximum horsepower and torque—translating to top gains of +100hp and +210 lb-ft torque—with 12% better mileage and prolonged engine life.

Banks Ram-Air Intake System
Banks Ram-Air Intake features a high-flow air-cleaner element and huge enclosed housing that decreases intake restriction and sends more cool, dense ram-air into your engine. Even wet or dirty, Banks Ram-Air filters outperform conventional ones, because the multi-layer design traps moisture, dust and debris on the oiled, outer surface, allowing air to move through with ease.


High-Ram® Air-Inlet Casting
Banks' streamlined, cast-metal High-Ram air inlet replaces the factory's smaller, angular piece for a 56% reduction in pressure loss. Greater boost on the intake side—without increased backpressure at the turbine—makes the engine more responsive and fuel-efficient.

Big Hoss Diesel Tuner
The Big Hoss Tuner calibrates fuel delivery and injection timing to maintain proper air-fuel ratio. The Big Hoss Tuner pours on the Cummins power and delivers a hose of benefits and built-in safety features. Incorporating a built-in torque converter clutch protection when signal is delivered to lock the torque converter, additional fuel delivery is momentarily de-rated to eliminate clutch slippage along with self-diagnostics to ensure that the device has no negative effect on the vehicles electronics. 

Quick-Turbo® Assembly (Excludes 01-02 235HP Engines)
Banks developed the Quick-Turbo in conjunction with the Holset turbocharger and Cummins Engine companies, to eliminate sluggishness "out of the hole" and produce strong acceleration. Quick-Turbo produces massive torque right from idle, achieves a higher peak faster, maintains more boost through the powerband, and doesn't over-boost. Banks' exclusive BigHead® wastegate actuator prevents "wastegate blow-open" by keeping the valve seated at higher pressures, increasing mid-range torque and top-end power.

Monster® Muffler
Replaces the factory's restrictive muffler with Banks' polished-stainless steel Monster muffler, featuring a straight-through 4"-diameter flow-path with Banks' designed expansion chamber which dissipates the annoying mid-range exhaust drone. Utilizes spun ceramic, very-high-temperature packing and delivers an authoritative—but never intrusive—exhaust sound.

Monster Exhaust
Banks Monster exhaust outflows stock and the competition. The streamlined exhaust pipe and 4" tailpipe are formed of stainless, heavy-wall tubing with constant-diameter bends to slash backpressure. Huge 5" polished-stainless steel tailpipe tip sports a rolled edge. Double-walled design with 1/2" air gap keeps heat from tarnishing exterior mirror finish. Adjustable clamp for positioning on tailpipe.

DynaFact® Gauges
Banks exclusive DynaFact electronic gauges offer precision that can't be matched by mechanical gauges. The pyrometer provides exhaust-gas temperature (EGT) measurements that are accurate within 15 degrees F at maximum operating temperatures. The pyro's spring-loaded, jeweled movement is resistant to vibration and sports a lit, easy-to-read 0-1500degrees F face. Banks' 0-50 psi boost gauge monitors power and turbo performance. Includes 2-gauge mounting panel. Top-mount and/or pillar-mount options available.

 

Application Notes

Cummins Engine Horsepower Rating is found on the engine identification tag, located on the side of the timing cover of the engine near the injection pump.

Banks Ram-Air Intake will not fit with Banks Exhaust Brake.

Quick-Turbo assembly is not included in systems for 2001-02 model year 235-hp rated vehicles.

I honestly don't like Banks products more than any other on the market. However this stuff works and if you have a Automatic transmission why not pick a system that protects the transmission. Hammer down with confidence when using this system all the power your truck can safely use!!! MPG's are the same but this system lets you run it on the floor with no worries of a melt down or a transmission failure. I installed this stuff on a 2001 Dodge 2500 and it works. IF you want a toy play with the more aggressive programmers and parts, but if you want power for the long haul make the choice with Banks!

i just bought a 99 dodge ram 2500 with the banks system on it and this product is great love it if it didn't have it already on it i would have put it on
