Great step

Have had the bestop steps on my 2002 f-250 for about a year with no problems. Have a 8" lift with 38" tires and have no problem getting in.Took about 3 hours to install. Had to swap the polarity to the motors, because when I would close the door they would go down, and come up when door was open. Had to get a different control module from bestop for the lights to work. Give them a 4 because of my troubles.

These boards are great !!! They are fairly easy to install (no modification required), the instructions are complete & easy to follow. I have had them on my 07 Dodge 2500 4x4 for 4 years without a single problem. Installation took me 3 1/2 hours.

These are very nice once installed. Had an issue with the main clamps. Figured out I had to cut/grind the bottom of my truck to get the indexing tabs to fit properly. The plugs for the motors do not have any specific instructions as to how they go on, vertically or horizontally. I messed one up pretty bad trying to figure it out and had to wire tie it on to the motor, very tight/poor fit on these plugs. The grounding/power tabs did not fit my truck and I had to install new ones. All in all I am very happing with the product, just a few minor issues.

Out of all the mods I have done to my rig, these are probably my favorite. I have had them for over a year, and have experienced zero problems with them. You get the best of both worlds: Easier entry into the vehicle(especially useful on lifted trucks), and no loss of ground clearance(like with traditional nerf bars). I still get amazed people who'll come up to me out of the blue just to ask about the steps. Sometimes they even ask if they can open the door to watch the steps deploy. Hahaha...I just love them! Installation took me about three hours, and I did it in my driveway with basic hand tools.
