The Color Touch Screen (CTS) is the most advanced technology in engine tuning available today.
Evolution CTS offers the same great features and benefits users have to
come to expect from Edge Products along with a whole host of additional
features Edge’s engineers have been creating for the past year! The CTS
comes packed in new style ruggedized cases with a universal system for
window for mounting (included) or custom pod or pillar mounting (see
related items below) “from the factory” look.The
Evolution CTS programmer not only re-programs the vehicle to improve
power and performance, but also doubles as a gauge-display device
providing vital information about the performance of the newly tuned
vehicle and can also act as scan tools for reading and clearing trouble
The CTS connects directly into the vehicle’s computer via the OBDII / diagnostic portand can read and display up to 8 parameters at a
time from a list of dozens of engine parameters! The CTS displays can
be easily changed and configured to allow each user to view the data
most important to them. Safety features with user-defined audible alerts
as well as performance test features such as 0-60 and quarter mile
times are included, along with light sensitivity meters that
automatically adjust screen brightness for improved viewing for day or

I am using the CTS on my 95 Powerstroke, the programs are great but the gauges are all either inaccurate or completely inoperable. I hooked up the big 3, trans egt and boost gauges separate due to the CTS instrumentation being funky. All is well and the truck has great power with acceptable readings on the analog autometer gauges. Bummer I had to install them the main reason I got the CTS was for the instrumentation. More than likely the older OBD2 is the culprit, so if your playing with a older ford just look into gauges separately because you are going to have to wire them up regardless

I bought the Evolution CTS from Diesel Power Products .com, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However when I plugged this unit into my 2013 GMC 6.6 Duramax it would not communicate with the vehicle. I contacted Diesel Power Products and they had me update the module through my computer. I plugged it back into the truck and had the same problem, this went on for hours. The module ended up shutting the truck down and would not start. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and reconnected, the truck started, however none of my electrical was working (gauges). After doing this several times with continuous problems I left the battery disconnected overnight and reconnected them the next morning. I contacted Diesel power products again and they said don’t plug it back in, instead they said take the truck to the dealer. I drove it to the dealer and pulled it into the garage. I told them what occurred, they tried to start it, and it again would not start. They worked on the truck for a couple hours, tried to flash the computer, however the CTS blew out my ECM, BCM. I contacted Edge directly, they said they would pay for the diagnostic of the truck but I would have to send them the old ECM and BCM but I would have to buy new ones.
When I bought the truck I paid for an extended electrical warranty, needless to say this product voided my warranty completely. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I ended up getting a new truck

This is more power than any one will ever need it's crazy. On the economy tune I get 34 mpg driving 90km or 55 mph with zero other mods to my truck. The only down side is the time it takes to switch from one tune to another. Buy this programmer it will pay for its self in mileage if you can control your self.

The power from this product is great... I did not expect that a plug n' play programmer would preform like this. BUT... It did come at some faults! I now have a permite "service traction control light" on my dash that doesn't go away even if you uninstall the programmer... i am currently working with the folks at Edge to resolve the issue but for $650? I expected that would have worked out the kinks before hand... Over all I have mixed feeling about this the CTS....

Tuner is very easy to install and provides excellent readouts on critical information (such as corrected MPH, DEF fluid readings and all EGT sensors). Power upgrade is great and increased MPGs. Great tuner.
