MBRP 4" Armor Plus Cat-Back Exhaust System S6208409 is the performance exhaust of choice for the enthusiast who needs a system that can take anything that the road throws at it. This Armor Plus (formerly XP series) system features a rugged 16-gauge T409 construction and can be counted on to withstand everything from salt to rocks, tar to grime. We have had such success with this line that we back it with a Lifetime Warranty.
Built to Perform
You count on your truck to tow all of your gear to where you want it. With your MBRP performance exhaust you can make that happen with up to18 HP more horsepower and 28 ft/lb more torque. Give your truck more pulling power and much improved throttle response with an MBRP diesel exhaust system. Our systems are so much more efficient, it will be easy to see what your truck can really do.
Minimize Backpressure
The secret to getting more out of your diesel engine is to give it lots of cool, clean air. The only way that you can get fresh air in is to get the hot air out. From the spiral louvered high flow muffler to the fully mandrel bent tubing to minimal bend degree angles, your MBRP performance system gets exhaust out fast. Drop exhaust gas temperature by up to 200°F and set the stage for all the performance you want. An MBRP performance exhaust system is the starting point to getting the most from cold air intakes, programmers, modules and downloaders.
Easy Installation
MBRP systems are as much fun to install as to drive with on your truck. Bolt-on, no weld design makes installing this on your truck a no hassle one and a half to two hour project. Everything is direct fit to the OEM hangers and you get all the clamps and parts you will need, all in one box, no matter what configuration of truck you have.

Fairly easy to install. Instructions could be a little bit better on the hanger positions. I tightened the clamps as tight as I could but the pipe was still loose. Had to tack weld each joint in a couple of places to keep it together. Sounds great and looks great. Seems like my truck is quite a bit peppier than before. Order number 1827284

The Cat back system is easy to install. Figuring out the hangers took a minute, but once you get it the rest are easy. The sound at idle is not really louder or deeper than stock. I notice it most when I start the engine and when I'm accelerating over about 1500 rpm; otherwise its not much different than stock. No drone at highway speeds.

I purchased this along with a Juice and Airaid Intake, and what a difference in power. The sound of this exhaust was exactly what I was looking for a little deeper, but still quiet enough at highway speeds that I don't really notice it's aftermarket.

Great sound! I puchased this with and AFE Pro Stage 2 intake and together these both made a very good inproviement on the sound and running of my truck! Very simple to install it took about 45 minutes and I was taking my time. I combined these modes with and SCT 3015 flash programmer from XDP about 30 days later and I am amazed at the power increase and how well the truck runs with just the basic street tune!!!!!!

This exhaust system was exactly what I was looking for. Installed in about 3.5-4 hrs without a hoist on my 04 Ford Excursion. Sounds excellant and not to loud for when the wife has to drive it. 1 note was that I had to cut about 4" off the end for when I installed the tip, besides that everything looks and sounds great. Fit and finish of all parts was excellant and shipping was about 2-3 days. Matt at XDP was very helpful and knowledgeable of what he was selling not just a person at the end of the phone taking orders. That was very appreciated Thanks XDP
