Description
Take your 2001-2004 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7 and upgrade its underwhelming factory intake system with the the AEM 21-9021D Brute Force HD Intake. The Brute Force Intake is easy to install and clean due to it's synthetic oil free filter media. In order to keep the air cool and increase horsepower, the air filter is housed in the original air box space and is surrounded by a heat shield. The intake tubing is designed with durable aluminum that is powder coated in a gunmetal gray finish for an awesome look.

Great product, easy installation. Took me 30 mins. On my Chevy diesel i received about 20.2 miles per gallon on highway. On just the intake installed. I can also feel the more torque. it gets off the line quicker. better response time. For the city im sitting about 17.6 mpg but I've been a little heavy on the pedal.

so far i've had this for 2 years now and no complaints. it's been all the way to oregon (coos bay) to glamis. so it's seen its fair share of sand/dust. it's installed on my dmax lb7 and i love how the turbo whistles compared to stock intake. haven't notice any increase/decrease in egt's as i got it installed w/ my guages.

Great intake! Install was very simple. Dropped my engine temp and EGTS, Also Turbo whistle and spool up increased from stock air box. Recommend AEM to anyone.
