Description
The AFE 49-44064 Large Bore HD 3-1/2" DPF-Back Exhaust System for your 2016-2022 GM Colorado/Canyon 2.8L Duramax is designed to increase flow and looks. Constructed from 3-1/2" mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing, this exhaust system uses high quality band clamps and OE style bayonet hangers for a secure fit. Included is your choice of a massive 5" black or polished exhaust tip with a laser-cut stainless steel AFE Power badge.
Simple Installation:
This system uses factory mounting locations providing stability and hassle-free installation.
OE Fit:
OE-style bayonet hangers are used to maintain a stable pipe location during high vibration and high heat conditions. The bayonet tip holds the hanger bushing in place for an OE-style fit that does not change with time.
Flow and Performance:
This LARGE BORE HD exhaust system is constructed of 3-1/2" mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing for maximum flow. Smooth transition bends allow for low turbulence, increasing horsepower, torque and lowering EGTs.
All aFe exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured in their Corona, California manufacturing facility.

What do you mean cut? Is it a weld on system and do you need a tune after installation?

This is NOT a weld on system. AFE requires you to cut the exhaust off right after the DPF. The AFE exhaust will then slip over the remaining extension left after the DPF and simply clamp on. Please refer to the installation instructions I have provided below. You will not require any tuning after installation.
