Description
The AFE 46-20118 BladeRunner Cold Side Intercooler Pipe is a 3"mandrel-bent replacement for your stock 2011-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax LML.
Perfect Fit:
Tube lines up directly to factory couplings for a convenient, tight and secure installation with minimal parts.
Flow and Performance:
The intercooler tube is constructed of 3"mandrel-bent aluminum tubing for maximum flow then, powder-coated for a nice finish. The high-temp wrinkle-black powder-coating also insulates the tubes from engine heat and protects the tube from corrosion. Also included, one 1/8" NPT port is provided for connecting a pressure sensor or water methanol injection. The smooth transition bends decrease turbulence and minimize pressure loss, while increasing horsepower and torque. Installs on the Cold-Side to transfer cooled air smoothly to the engine for better performance.
Installation is a snap:
Utilizes the factory mounting locations for a hassle-free installation. Includes high quality stainless steel T-bolt clamps and heavy-duty 5-Ply polyester reinforced couplings for strength. Fits OEM or AFE's upgraded intercooler.
AFE Badging:
Unique stainless steel laser-cut AFE Power logo plate is welded-on for an aggressive style.

Boots Too Small, Clamps Too Small. Had To Use 6.0 Powerstroke Intercooler Clamps.

Boots are an absolute battle to get on the CAC and throttlebody, The picture showed a shiny plate that said AFE Power but I got a tiny painted on AFE logo, they have no reviews on their website, wonder why that would be the case...

Parts didn’t match instructions

The instructions said to use the larger clamps on the engine and intercooler connections. The problem is that all the clamps were the same and even had the same part numbers. I ended up having to leave the springs off of those clamps in order to be able to use them. It worked, but I feel like at the price point that I shouldn’t have to modify anything.

The pipe is better then factory but had a heck of a time getting the boots onto the charge air cooler and the throttle body. Part was for a customer that wanted the stock pipe replaced. Probably wouldn't buy this particular one again. Would spend a little more money and get nothing better/ bigger.
