Description
The AFE 54-10792 Magnum FORCE Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System w/Pro 5R Filter produces up to 8HP and up to 17 lbs. x ft. torque while outflowing the factory intake by up to 117%. This intake is a highly engineered heat-shielded air box with a one-piece intake tube. Handling filter duties is the PRO 5R performance air filter that features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media. The PRO 5R filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T). Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a direct fit installation.

This intake drastically changed the truck. Turbo sound hits hard around 2k RPM and gets really loud and crisp up to redline. Previously I only had a tuner on the truck, with the addition of this intake it seems like the truck is utilizing fuel better and it has smoothed acceleration power. Overall a great addition to the truck.

After installing it definitely made a difference in throttle response and I'm seeing better fuel mileage 1.4 mpg more plus it woke the turbo right up

this product really helps out in the long run saw a decrease in exhaust temp by 150 degrees and also took 1/4 mile time down by 3/10ths of a second would recommend to anyone

have wanted more power for the 96 PSTD for a while and started with this item. install was easy only one hour by myself. woke up the turbo immediately. would recommend to anyone wanting a little more throttle response and a louder turbo!!
