economical design, easy install, however their is tons of HOT AIR that accumulates in my 2008 chevy diesel right by that intake filter. I believe an enclosed system with induction (like the banks super scoop) etc would be much more beneficial, to where it pulling the air from outside of the fender or the engine compartment.
