Banks Power Powerstroke 6.0L Single Monster Exhaust System
|Cab & Bed Configuration:||
2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke
F-250/350 PICKUP & EXCURSION: Monster exhaust system flows up to 91.5% better than stock and virtually eliminates back-pressure. The streamlined 4" intermediate pipe(s) and tailpipe are formed of stainless, heavy-wall tubing with constant-diameter bends to maximize flow and lower exhaust gas temps. Banks replaces the factory's restrictive muffler with a polished-stainless steel Monster muffler, featuring a straight-through 4"-diameter flow-path with a Banks-designed expansion chamber which dissipates the annoying mid-range exhaust drone that's so prominent in competitors straight-through mufflers. The muffler utilizes spun ceramic, very-high-temperature packing, more than doubles the stock flow and delivers an authoritative—but never intrusive—exhaust sound.
Includes a 3-1/2" turbine outlet pipe (T.O.P.).* A huge 5" polished-stainless steel tailpipe tip sports a rolled edge. Double-walled design with 1/2" air gap keeps heat from tarnishing the exterior mirror finish. Adjustable clamp for positioning on tailpipe.
*For 2006 models with manual transmission, Banks T.O.P. not required. For 2003 models, Banks T.O.P. comes with an integrated resonator, which eliminates the screechy turbo noise that affects 03 Power Strokes 5-Year Warranty

2004 Powerstroke 6.0 short bed extended cab.
Removal of stock exhaust-pain in the butt
Installation of Banks-easy, great instructions in manual
After installation the sound was great you get the best sound between 1500 and 2000 rpm under load. But nothing too loud or crazy on the highway. Got that good "clean running sound"
Could feel more power and could feel the better flow.
Before installation I was getting 14.11 mpg half city driving half highway driving, after installation I got 14.95 mpg just in the city 25-60 mph with rolling hills.
I would recommend this exhaust system to anyone, thanks XDP!

Spent a little more on this exhaust but it was well worth the money. Great horse power gain and the sound is deep tone just a little louder than stock. Is the best upgrade that i made to my truck
Really nice exhaust

I put this on a 2004 f-250 6.0l with a bullydog cold air intake. It was pretty simple the hardest part getting the Turbo outlet pipe out and putting the bigger one in which I used a sawsall to cut the old off to pulll it off. there isnt a lot of room so it was pretty diffult trying to get the new one to fit right. After that it was a cinch putting the rest on. In the instructions they want you to keep your cat. Just lettin ya know. Also keep the rubber supports from the old exhuast it dont come with new ones. It does sound louder but more of a deeper throatier exhaust. I do like the looks of it...The final part I dont like I thought it was straight out the back. it isnt. It comes out the same spot the original exhuast does. That part I dont like.

The Banks Exhaust fit perfectly, sounds great and gave me a solid gain in power and fuel economy. All my buddies run Banks on there truck and I'd recommend it to anyone whose thinking about adding an exhaust to their diesel pick-up truck. It is they only truly engineered system on the market.
