Banks Power Six-Gun Diesel Tuner 63717

Was always a fan of Banks, just got this new version of the six gun. Runs a lot cleaner than past models.

I love in denver. Our city now has cops handing out $50 tickets if they even see a puff of black out your tailpipe. I tried a couple of tuners and all of them made some smoke. Then I got a six gun. THIS THING DOESNT SMOKE. I didn’t believe them but on tune 6 foot to the floor this thing is as clean as can be. I did invest in an egt (Came with drill bit and a tap) and added the banks idash. It has a very long setup but it’s worth the wait if you have to have clean running trucks. I know lots of guys who run these tuners in their rigs and they are in my opinion the safest tuners for your truck. They won’t kill your trans or blow your motor. This comes at the cost of power. If the system feels something is approaching the limit, it will throttle the power. But at least you Have peace of mind. I hear a lot complain about the cost. But by the time you go with another tuner and invest in a tcm tune, your right back at this price. The other complaint is the amount of gear that goes under your hood. This is a legitimate concern that I have had an issue with. I had a coolant line break under my hood and it doused everything in antifreeze. The truck started skipping like crazy and I had no boost. I bought a can of electronic cleaner and sprayed all the connectors. Good as new. If you want the most power out of your truck possible and either don’t care about the driveline or plan on upgrading, don’t buy this. Their is no expansion for more power with mods. If you want 500hp, I suggest looking at duramaxtuners. They make excellent power and have all the upgrades to make that power reliably. If you have a good solid stock truck and just want some better performance without having to worry about blowing things up, this is in my opinion the best option.

Thing works wonders on my truck got it with just the switch and boy does it put you righ in the seat the install was pretty easy but i didnt have to drill for pyro since i didnt get the speed loader i like this chip alot it really helps me beat my buddys ford off the line thanks gale banks and thanks XDP
