While your Ford Super Duty has a 5-speed transmission, it doesn't offer you a complete range of gear selections. You only get P-R-N-D-3-2-1. The BD-Power TapShifter allows you to gain full control of the transmission in your truck with the supplied components. Using a high quality Ford OE shift lever, the BD-Power Tap Shifter kit enables you to control your transmission with just the push of a button.

Application Notes:

Super easy to install. Makes you wish Ford had this from the factory. My only complaint is it would have been nice if the module had the vvt exhaust braking function built in instead of having to spend another 500 dollars for a separate module and harness.

THIS WITH THE EXHAUST BRAKE IS A MUST HAVE FOR TOWING. I'M NOT SURE WHO I SHOULD BE MORE MAD WITH, FORD FOR NOT DOING THIS FROM THE START OR BD FOR TAKING SO LONG TO COME OUT WITH IT. EITHER WAY I HAVE IT NOW AND IT IS AWESOME.110% HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE!

BD-Power only offers this Tap Shifter for 08-10 6.4L equipped trucks. It will not work on gas applications.
