There is nothing more disheartening than to have all these performance add-ons to you 5.9L Cummins so you can race your buddies only to find out that your stock lift pump cannot deliver the fuel! That`s right; the stock lift pump was not designed to deliver the amount of fuel that the latest race add-ons are demanding to produce the horsepower you are demanding.
This new pump will ensure that your VP44 or CP3 pump has ample fuel to support over 600HP. Don't be concerned about hard starts due to high fuel pressure; the BD kit includes a proprietary switch that solves the hard start issues common with other lift pump kits. Everything you need for a simple installation is included in the kit.
Feel at ease knowing with BD's Lift Pump Kit, you are getting the fuel you need, and, let your buddies figure out why they can't deliver like you can.
XDP TIP:
This is the pump you should go with if your stock pump has went bad. It is designed to bypass/eliminate the use of the stock pump on the motor. The way this pump works is it mounts on the frame rail w/ the supplied hardware and wiring harness that plugs directly into your factory harness. This kit mounts on the frame because it's easier for the pump to push fuel rather than pull it from the tank and the vibrations from the motor shorten the life of the pump when it's mounted on the engine. If your stock pump is still good and your just looking for a little added security you should look into the auxiliary pump. Additional InformationInstall Sheet

This pump CANNOT supply the amount of fuel needed with the new power adders. I had both a smarty and quadzilla adrenaline and this pump could not keep up with the fuel demands.

Put less than 10,000 miles on the truck and the pump failed. Would not recommend it to anyone!

This product is not worth buying.
The pump is worst than the OEM pump that comes with the truck. I installed pump with ease but will not deliver. I purchased the low pressure alarm kit with the pump. The light stays on constantly. Low pressure pressure from the pump is causing my truck to be sluggish, slow, no power.
Do not buy this lift pump it is a bad investment.

What a Piece of CRAP!! Never will we purchase or suggest this to our worst enemy. Almost from day 1 the pressure was low and dropped almost to zero with the edge juice with attitude. We put a very accurate gauge on and foud that the edge product is very accurate unlike what BD will tell you it is not very accurate. Even giving one star is way to much of a rating
