BD-Power Exhaust Pulse Manifold
1988-2007 Dodge 5.9L Cummins
Stop exhaust manifold cracks in their tracks with BD’s Pulse exhaust manifold for the Dodge-Cummins. Cast from high silicon ductile iron, the Pulse features expansion joints that allow the manifold to expand and contract without cracking or exhaust leaks.
As the name would imply, these manifolds are “pulse tuned” to assist in combustion chamber evacuation and increased exhaust flow. The result is quicker turbo spool-up, reduced backpressure, increased power and better fuel economy. Some kits include stainless steel fasteners and washers to prevent lost or loose manifold bolts. Gaskets sold separately.
- Pulse-Tuned for maximum performance
- Expansion Joints to eliminate cracking
- Cast from high silicon ductile iron

Exhaust leak fixed and spools faster!!

Bought this for my 96 because of an exhaust leak on the front two ports. The stock mani was seperating itself from the head and forcing the gasket to block part of the exhaust ports, so decided it was time to go for it and fix it correctly. It has lowered egts and the sound of my exhaust along with added a little more power it feels like. I did have to retap for the egt port as it did not catch as many threads as I hoped but would still buy again.
Very nice manifold! Sweet! Sweet! Sweet!

Put this bad boy on my 01 Dodge over the weekend, and it went right on. Didn't have to remove the turbo, All the hardware worked as it should, thing went right on! Dig the ports for the EGT sensor and they are in a good location. Make sure you order the gasket kit for the manifold, and the turbo. Great product, changed the sound of the exhaust slightly, and turbo spools a bit quicker. also seems the EGT's dropped slightly. Very happy with it so far, can't beat BD's stuff!

You get what you pay for. It looks almost identical to the ATS manifold, and I think its better because of the EGT probe location. The BD has a better one, as compared to the ats. The installation was a bit tricky (took 6 hours), but I got held up putting the #5 cylinder bottom side bolt in. Removing the turbo is a must, I thought that you could just keep it on, but there is no way to do it without taking the turbo off. Anyways, I could definitely feel a performance difference. And my stock turbo spooled much faster. It even lowered the tone of the exhaust, and made it where you can more distinctly hear each cylinder fire. All and all, its a great manifold, and I would recommend it to anyone.

It took twice as long to remove the stock manifold then to install this item. Fit was perfect and I recieved all the hardware decribed. The only thing you reuse is two of the studs off of your turbo mounts to the manifold. This acually makes it easier to install. Just pop them out with vice grips. Also used the BD gaskets and there's no leaks. Pyro guage fit perfectly in the pre-tapped port. Looks great, runs great.

I just had this installed on my truck, and I love it. I immediately noticed quicker turbo spool, better acceleration, and lower EGT's. I used to have to wait a long time for the EGT's to cool down to save the turbo, now it cools down to around 300 degrees in a matter of a few seconds instead of close to a minute or more in the heat. On the freeway the AVG Econ went up to 19+ right away. I also noticed that it smokes less. I have an 06 5.9 with a Smarty, and intake and exhaust.
