The BD-Power 1041260 Billet Flex Plate from XDP is designed to reliably handle up to 1,500 lb-ft of torque. Featuring twice the material of the Stock flex plate, these units are billet machined, precision balanced. SFI 29.3 approved for use in racing sanctioning bodies. Black Oxide coated to resist corrosion and prevents hydrogen embrittlement that can cause cracking, these units will fit any OEM or aftermarket torque convertor and affordable enough to replace with a convertor or transmission swap.
Why replace the entire flywheel assembly when its the flex plate that is the problem? Save your powertrain! BDs FleXplate still allows axial thrust unlike the competitors solid flywheel conversions. The BD Black FleXplate is a direct bolt-in replacement for the stock unit one part number covers all Duramax years. Great for racing, Towing or stock application.
BD FleXplate has passed the newly created SFI 29.3 version testing a much more stringent test for safty then the old 29.1 version. The 29.3 test is specific to the high horsepower Diesel engines only. The BD FleXplate is high speed Neutral Balanced almost twice as thick as the stock unit, the material is 30% stronger. This again points to the BD FleXplate as being the best in the industry.

can you get a ring gear or is it installed on it 2005 chevy duramax 6.6 turbo diesel has missing teeth on ringgear
The BD-POWER HEAVY DUTY FLEX PLATE 1041260 does not include the outer “flywheel”.
