Bilstein 5100 Series Steering Stabilizers utilize the same high gas pressure monotube design found in our shock absorbers, offering instantaneous response to suspension inputs. These steering stabilizers feature digressive valving, reducing vibration and wear & tear on steering components. Designed specifically to replace the vehicle's OE stabilizer, for easy installation.

Replaced all 4 shocks on my 2001 Ford F350 Super Duty before purchasing this item. This company has a reputation of having a shock that feels a little stiffer than others. I have experienced this myself on other vehicles as well. I needed a new steering damper and wanted to keep the trend I was going on this truck, so I purchased the Bilstein damper. I always spray a good coating of clearcoat on the body of component as it will clean off real easy that way and keep it looking newer as time goes by.
