The Rapid Power module improves fuel economy and adds power to the Mercedes 3.0L V6 Diesel engine. This is acheived by increasing the efficiency of the fuel injection system. Results show increases of 35hp and 40 ft.-lbs of torque. The installation is extremely easy and takes no more than 20 minutes. It also does not require any mechanical experience since the modules come equipt with OEM type plugs. |

I am in awe of so many benefits yet no downside IMO. I expected and got throddle response and acceleration, but I expected it would be at the cost of MPG. After about 3000 miles my highway is about the same or a slight improvement (like 1 mpg) but city is more like 2-3 mpg. Not a great deal but when I can get this plus the fantastic performance I am very happy. I should also mention it provided less turbo lag--a BIG plus. My application is 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD.
