Description
Replace an often overlooked part of your 1999-2016 Ford F-250/350 Super Duty with the Daystar Body Mounts KF04050BK. While most people know the benefits of upgrading a vehicle's suspension with polyurethane components, the Cab & Body Mounts are always forgotten about. Factory mounts are constructed of rubber that breaks down over time from exposure to the elements. As they break down, they become less effective at isolating the cab from chassis noise and vibration. In extreme circumstances, worn body mounts can cause the body to shift on the frame and increase body roll, door rattling, shift linkage alignment, and many other strange issues with components that attach to both the body and the chassis.
Daystar Body Mounts are resistant to vehicle fluids and road grime. They outlast factory body mounts and provide more positive attachment to the frame. Precision-engineered to be a direct replacement for factory mounts, they are constructed of a special polyurethane blend that helps insulate the cab while maintaining superior holding power. Daystar body mounts are the perfect upgrade for worn stock mounts and are particularly beneficial in racing applications.

Great kit, install was simple since I already had my cab lifted. Fitment is better than OEM. Could make the kit cheaper if they didn’t include 2008-2016 body mounts as well with the 1999-2007 kit.

The Daystar Body Mounts are really an underrated modification. I think a lot of people ignore this kind of upgrade and for me, it's a must have on any truck I own from here on out. It definitely made a difference in the ride. I noticed it stopped some of the shakiness of the cab. It also did make a positive ride change because my old bushings were bad. I would recommend these to any Super Duty owner pulling their cab off.

First I'll say these can be found cheap else where. Second these are the bushings that do not fit properly due to being smaller than OEM & will crumble and fold if not seated properly. This means you have to hold one at a time as the cab is lowered onto it until the pressure holds it in place. They do stiffen up the ride alot. I just replaced the shocks a few thousand miles ago and these mounts took that new shock feeling away already. On a positive side they do eliminate body/cab roll in turns.
