Will this work with header wrap? Wrapping the headers on a 72 Vet, will this help holding the header wrap in place ?

The DEI Hi-Temp Spray Adhesive 010490 only has a temperature resistant up to 160°F (71°C). The exhaust headers will get much hotter than this and degrade the adhesive. The adhesive may make the application easier, but the wrap would still have to be secured using the proper SS locking ties.

The DEI HI-TEMP SPRAY ADHESIVE 010490 is designed for the installation of carpet, headliners, trim, insulation, or upholstery.
Specifically developed to be both water and heat resistant for automotive and marine use and is handy for most any strong bond application. Rated up to 160°F (71°C) it can be used where heat resistance is required such as the application of Boom Mat Under Carpet or a DEI Heat Screen.
