Before Ordering: When turbo re-manufacturing facilities rebuild the 2005-2007 turbos, they almost always cut the compressor cover to clean up damages and scratches and then install 03 compressor wheels. This is a VERY common practice. Even turbos bought from Ford for an 05-07 truck will most likely have an 03 wheel installed. If your turbo has ever been out of the truck for repair, or you bought your truck used and don't know the history, you must measure the inducer of the compressor wheel before ordering. The 2003 style wheel measures about 59mm and the 2005 style measures about 56mm This turbo has a reverse thread - meaning you turn the compressor wheel to the right to loosen. No need to torque the Wicked Wheel on. Simply snug the Wicked Wheel until it fully seats. It will self-tighten to full torque.

Don't waste your money
1
I've been building and racing diesels for over 25 years. I figured I'd give this a shot and see how it works. Well it don't. If you put it right up against a stock wheel. Other then the grooves on the flat part of the wheel it is the same. It does sound a little different. We dynod 2 times before the new wheel was installed and 3 times after the new wheel. I don't know were they got there results. But they r far from true. Don't waste your money , spend a couple extra hundred bucks. And have your stock turbo built by a pro. Or just buy a hybrid from Industrial Injection.

Questions and Answers

Is this wheel for my stock turbo?
View Staff Answer
Answer

Yes. This is a stock replacement compressor wheel for the 2004.5-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke (Built 11/04 & Later).

Is it durable?
View Staff Answer
Answer

Absolutely! The only thing that could cause any issues with the Wicked Wheel’s durability would be either foreign object damage or dirt ingestion/dusting. Neither of these damages are faults of the wheel, but actually due to an external force.
