The Evolution automatically makes a backup of your stock program before proceeding to add a new program. This assures that you will have the stock program if/when you desire to reprogram your vehicle to its original stock program.
The Evolution is also a powerful diagnostics tool. Not only can you view trouble codes your vehicle may be displaying- which allows you to fix them, but you can turn off that “Check Engine” light when the program has been addressed. No more trips to the dealer for a diagnostics tool.
The Evolution's small, lightweight design allows personalized control with the touch of a button. With a backlit LCD screen, seeing and reading codes is now a simple process. The unit not only displays codes, but also displays a description of what these codes means, which eliminates copying the code down and then finding the manual to look them up.
The following power gains are representative of an actual test vehicle. These gains were measured on a SuperFlow Dyno at an altitude of 4400 ft above sea level, and represent power delivered to the rear wheels of the test truck. The only modification made to the test truck was the addition of the Edge Evolution. Power gains may vary based on vehicle and geographical location.

I bought the edge tuner for my late 99 powerstroke and ran it on extreme and it gave me instant power. A great way to greatly incease the power in your 7.3 and blow a hell of alot of black smoke. If you want your truck to sound great blow black smoke and have huge huge power gains... I Recommend this programmer.

Ive got a 1997 Ford F-250 HD with a 7.3L Interntional, 6 spd manual with 5" silverline Stack, and this programmer really deliverd, its a hole different truck, more horsepower, more torque, and bst of all, she rolls that black smoke, the stocks mke it look and sound like a big ol peterbuilt semi, and this programmer makes it smoke like a big ol peterbuilt. I'd recommend this product to everyone who wants or needs more horsepower for a 7.3L engine.

i got a 99 ford f250 7.3 with the edege evolution programmer with 8 inch staxx and there aint no chevy or dodge that cant hang with me.i run with it on extreme everywhere i go i recomend this to everyone

1997 powerstroke. this chip is amazing! i have always been a big fan of edge products and this one doesnt disappoint! i had a PPE 6 bank chip in it before. i took that out and installed the edge and what a huge difference over the PPE. the tranny shifts so much smoother, i picked up more economy and drivability and the best of all it rolls the smoke!

I just recently purchased the edge evolution for my 2000 f350 dually 7.3l power stroke diesel 6spd, and i am in aw! i took it for ride in town after i put it in and there is a significant increase in power,it drives like its a completely different truck. there is so much more power than before,the throttle is a lot more responsive with the programmer it blows solid black smoke every time i touch the pedal. I am completely satisfied with this product and would recommend it too anyone who has a 7.3 diesel and wants raw power!
