Industrial Injection Common Rail PhatShaft 62 Turbo
2003-2007 Dodge 5.9L Cummins*
62 is the perfect replacement turbo for towing. The PhatShaft 62 comes with a 14cm turbine housing matched with a 65mm turbine. The benefit of the 14cm over the 12cm exhaust housing
is lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures but it will be
slower to spool in daily driving situations. The
wategate is set at 40psi to prevent head gasket
failure. The PhatShaft 62 compliments moderate fueling
upgrades and can support 300 - 550hp.
*03-07 "CRL" Large Flange model will work with 03-07 5.9L trucks and will retain cast elbow allowing use of factory downpipe.
"CR" Turbo will require removal of cast elbow from back of turbo. This
will require an HX40 downpipe and exhaust modifications for complete
*04.5-07 Models will require a wastegate fooler or performance module that has wastegate control capabilities.

I have had this turbo for about 2 years now and it performs well. I have 2005 ram 2500 short bed with a 6 speed manual, 50hp dd. injectors, smarty udc, arson 3 kit, xdp heater delete, fluidampr, heads studs, fass 150, 4inch turbo back w/ cat hollowed, south bend double disk, 4inch lift, 35inch tires and 3.73 gears. pulls hills great, around town drivability is laggy as hell and smokey off the line tho. industrial injection customer service is great.

Spools great, lowered egt's greatly vs stock bought it with towing/pulling twins in the near future. If you tow a lot like I do and plan on daily driving as well I highly recommend to anyone that wants a improvement over stock.
