Description
The Generation II FIPK is K&N's ultimate performance product, designed to increase power by as much as 10%. Most FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with a 10 Year/ Million Mile Limited Warranty. K&N intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle's engine to inhale a larger volume of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our intake kits are relatively easy to install using tools commonly available (see installation instructions).

Installation Tech Tip:
The Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor is mounted in the intake tube of the air intake system. During installation of a cold air intake, the MAF must be removed and moved over. While replacement of a functioning MAF sensor is not necessary, it is considered a good practice to inspect, clean, or replace the sensor (if needed) whenever it's removed.

I bought this for my 02 lb7 duramax and it was noticable right off the bat that I had more horsepower, it gave me a nice whistle when I would hit the thottle. good investment thus far, I would highly reccomend

Much quicker turbo spool and throttle response easy to install and if your looking for enhanced turbo whisle this is your pick. Highly recommended

i installed it myself and took me little less than an hr. got 3 more mpg's and little quicker spolls. cant beat the price and for a beginner like me cake to install
