Quality of the metal seems okay at first. Then the instructions advise that you must cut your stock exhaust. I was unaware prior to installing, but still willing to do it. I got the pipe cut and put on the new pipe with no issues. Mind you the new pipe is in two pieces. The clamp going from the 4" piping to the new 5" piping seats great. However the clamp going from the over the axle dump to the new tailpipe (both 5" pipes) does not seat well despite me ratcheting it down as tight as I could. The second pipe section basically moves around freely. The instructions advise to tac weld the pipes together. I am sure that is great and easily done for an experienced welder, however, for someone who does not have a welder or any welding experience that is an issue. If I did not live in CommieFornia (California) then I would just straight pipe my truck so it can run efficiently, however, due to overblown smog issues I figured this would suffice with a nice exhaust sound change and MAYBE some change in function....I was wrong. This piece is a waste of money if you are going from stock to anything else.
