Built from heavy duty aluminized steel the MBRP Armor Lite 4" Filter-Back Exhaust System S6242AL offers a value price without compromising on the quality built into every component. While the seams are a major point of rust through with some budget systems, MBRP's Armor Lite (formerly known as the PLM Series exhaust system) features fully sealed tubing that helps add years to your system.
Minimize Backpressure
The secret to getting more out of your diesel engine is to give it lots of cool, clean air. The only way that you can get fresh air in is to get the hot air out. From the fully mandrel bent tubing to minimal bend degree angles, your MBRP system gets exhaust out fast. An MBRP exhaust system is the starting point to getting the most from cold air intakes, programmers, modules and downloaders.
Easy Installation
MBRP systems are as much fun to install as to drive with on your truck. Bolt-on, no weld design makes installing this on your truck a no hassle one and a half to two hour project. Everything is direct fit to the OEM hangers and you get all the clamps and parts you will need, all in one box, no matter what configuration of truck you have.

Will the Installer Series rust after a while?
Built from 100% Aluminized steel the Installer Series is manufactured with the same high quality design and craftsmanship as the Pro & XP series, but at a value price. The Installer Series comes standard with a 3-year warranty and is best suited for areas with moderate environmental conditions. The aluminized steel will oxidize and depending on the location could rust through. (If this is a concern, take a look at the XP series. The MBRP XP Series is rugged & dependable. Made from T409 Stainless Steel the XP series is designed and built to handle the harshest road conditions. Backed by a lifetime warranty this exhaust system will stand up to the elements like northern winters and salty coastal climates. The XP Series will oxidize but it will not rust through.)
