Duramax LB7 owners now have the ability of connecting the turbo and aftermarket down-pipe back exhaust system by removing the restrictive stock pipe. The MBRP down pipe provides a smoother flow from the turbo resulting in lower EGT’s and Increased Performance. The down pipe is a relatively easy install due to the precision bends that you’ve come to expect from MBRP.

This product is great turbo used to start spooling around 1900 now it's about 1250. Egt's dropped tremendously and the turbo is much more pronounced. Excellent product everyone who has a duramax should have one.

egts drop fast, turbo spools faster, quicker acceleration(seat of the pants), little rough on install, found if you remove bracket on back of pass. head pipe drops right in.

man did product is alwsome!!!!!!!!! with this down pipe and all the performace parts i put on my truck,volant intake,mbrp turbo down pipe, mbrp exaust, banks power wastegate,duramaxmileage tunner i went from 17mpgs stock to 22 mpgs if drive fast but if i drive sensabile i get amazing 23mpngs but now i need to get iardog 165 pgh fuelsystem for more power fuel economy.

this is the best thing to put on to increase mpg by 1-2 mpg better acceration with a great sound makes my 01 sound tough and faster turbo spool up the the restricted stock flat piece a junk . this 3 inch turbo decrease egts quickly thanks xdp.
