Easy install, High output
Michael Sullivan (Fullerton, CA) 6/24/2016 10:24 PM
Installation was easy and fast. The best part is as soon as I started my truck the output voltage rose to 14.1 volts in about 1 minute even with the glow plugs still on. The voltage did not drop much with all of the lights and fans on. The windings appear to bu much thicker than the stock unit with more room for airflow around the front and back. I am giving it a 4 rating only because I don't have any history with it in my Excursion. Don't by another "stock" alternator, upgrade to more power and you will be much happier with the performance overall.
Not Worth the Expense

Alternator failed in less than 2.5 years and less than 12,000 miles not worth the expense, limited warranty, versus of the cost.
