Description

The Mishimoto MMTS-F2D-11L Low-Temperature Thermostat for your 2011-2022 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke improves the reliability of your cooling system. A defective thermostat can result in engine overheating and potential internal damage. Improve the reliability of your 6.7L cooling system with the Mishimoto High-Temperature Thermostat!

The Mishimoto thermostat has lower activation temperatures (189°F/196°F) compared to the factory thermostat (194°F/201°F). The lower activation temperatures allow coolant to flow through the engine earlier, which reduces and maintains lower engine temperatures. This thermostat is ideal for use in warmer climates or under extreme towing/driving conditions. Pair this thermostat set with the Mishimoto 6.7L Powerstroke Aluminum Primary Performance Radiator for a complete cooling system overhaul. As with all our products, this thermostat include the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty, ensuring superior product quality and craftsmanship.

Features:
  • 189° F / 196° F Activation Temperature
  • Maintains Lower Engine Temperatures
  • Ideal For Use In Warmer Climates
Includes: Mishimoto Thermostat, Factory-Style O-Ring, Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Do not buy this unit rubber failed and small rubber pieces was all threw out the coolant system I had to clean and rod my rads and flush my coolant after it could not handle the heat
No good for hauling heavy.

Just swapped in the thermostat and it does as stated. Coolant temps ran colder and took longer for the fan to kick on however my oil temps started to go into the 250’s range. Hauling the same load with the same conditions with the oem thermostat my oil temp maxed out 246 and stayed around 240 now it’s maxing out at 255 and staying around 248. Next time I stop I’m swapping in the oem thermostat! Also I have never seen this truck get over 246 EOT before this.
