Description
The S&B Filters Performance Intake Elbow 76-1007 is designed to minimize airflow restriction in your 1998.5-2002 Dodge 5.9L Diesel. This intake manifold can improve turbo spool-up while also lowering EGTs. Featuring 06061-T6 Aluminum that has been precisely CNC machined, this intake provides up to 43.61% greater airflow over the stock intake manifold.
This intake elbow offers multiple ports so you can inject & monitor until your heart's content. S&B also provides airtight plugs to cover 2 of the unused ports.
Intelligent Attachment
The standard way for mounting an elbow to an intake has been to run bolts through the interior of the elbow. This creates a lot of turbulence and can hinders performance. The S&B elbow attaches with four bolts on the outside of the elbow resulting in a tighter seal, increased airflow and improved performance.

Not a fan of the studs and overall geometry is not ideal but it looks slick and does the job.

I cannot say that it is not worth the money, but these guys need to learn how to tap holes straight, very aggravating. To aid, make sure your run a 1/8" pipe tap through the holes first, you will have a much clearer view of how to start the threads.
