I have a 2008 f250 superduty.
I had this product installed by a professional mechanic. I can achieve 30 mpg at 65 mph, and pull a mid 13sec in the quarter mile. I average 20 mpg, compared to the 13mpg I was getting with the stock truck. The truck will hit 110 mph in a heartbeat when passing on the highway, without downshifting. A friend who has used the product referred me to a professional to have it installed.
I would not own a diesel without having it installed immediately. Did not affect my Ford warranty.

The unit locks up about every other day, requiring me to reset it. It also emits a high pitch annoying hum, much like the old CRT computer monitors. Moreover, a software glich causes part of the data to be overwritten on the main screen.
The retail store, Dunks of Springfield Oregon, passed on the price of $1299, but will not update the software w/o me leaving the truck with them for three days, which is impractical since it is my business vehicle.
With the constant shutdowns, screen-overwrite, high price and lousy service, I would not recommend the SCT Extreme Livewire.
