button form allowing for a dual friction, dual disc clutch. The organic
lining will be facing the pressure place and flywheel for smooth
engagement yet still offers superior holding power.
- Clutch discs are a dampened free travel design similar to the semi clutch to help reduce gear roll-over.
- One of a kind dampened center place eliminates rattle when clutch is released

We now have the 1 3/8" upgrade input shaft from the 1 1/4" for the Dodge NV4500. Our kit includes everything shown in the picture below: 1 3/8" input shaft, bearing retainer with seal, front bearing and race, pancake bearing as well as the thrust bearing.
All the clutch components in this assembly are made of steel. The center plate is lugged to fit the flywheel. This complete clutch has no special requirements for install. It is a direct replacement of the OEM clutch. Dodge 5 speeds will, however, require a 1 3/8" input shaft upgrade. All flywheels will have a bronze/feramic insert that will be removable. This feature will allow us to replace the insert, instead of the flywheel, when it is time to be rebuilt. We have variations of friction materials as well as different sequences of buttons. Please refer to the chart above for the clutch that will suit your needs.

Great clutch hi price

I have an 06 cummins one ton dually with a flatbed. at 65,000 the stock clutch went out. my dad put another stock clutch in and started to haul heavy loads and it went out again at 94,000 so i looked in to double disc clutch and ended up buying this one its a great clutch no slips on hills towing 10,000 pounds up the summit no slip in town smokin fords at red light it holds hyper tech on level 3 and edge ez chip on stage 3 the overall HP between the truck 340 hp stock and hyper tech 176 hp the edge ez chip is 65hp you do the math.Light pedal effort shift nice. Two problems one is the price and the second is the stick moves a little slower

Handles everything all day. No slip. Shifts like stock and no extra pedal pressure. Edge EZ, PPE Xcle, Fass 150, Amsoil Bypass. GET ONE, can't go wrong, make sure you call and find your exact application needs.

Just a quick word about South Bend Clutches--Using my Dodge Ram 2500, I just pulled a SEMI out of a predicament--his Right front tire was off the road in a ditch. Put it in 4-low and pulling together, got him unstuck. My clutch, a dual-disc South Bend, did not slip at all. Gotta love it (and Cummins, of course!). Getting the right one was a bit of a chore, but once that was done, I was golden. Be sure to call them before you order if you have a 2005 Dodge! Thanks Xtreme Diesel for hooking me up!

The clutch is very good quality. I pull a goose neck and tractor and it holds everything I throw at it. Stock burned up at around 60 thousand miles. I have 80 thousand and still no slip. Seems to shift a little slower though. smarty, intake, exhaust, edge insight, bd boost fooler
