The Valair QG56DDSN Quiet Street Dual Disc Clutch for your 2005.5-2018 Dodge 5.9L/6.7L Diesel offers more holding power and a wider range of use over a single disc clutch, while retaining similar driving characteristics. With a 3800lb diaphragm style pressure plate quick shifts are still possible while pedal pressure will be just over stock.
Ceramic
The Ceramic Street Dual Disc is best suited for daily driven trucks that have performance modifications up to 650HP that do see some racing or hard use. Light towing is possible; clutch engagement will be somewhat aggressive but tolerable.
Quiet
This clutch has proven in testing to be the answer to the center plate noise that our customers have been asking for. The drive straps installed from the floater plate to the flywheel will eliminate rattle when the clutch pedal is pressed in. This clutch requires extra care during the installation to ensure that the drive straps are properly installed.

G56 Gear Rollover Facts:
When converting a G56 transmission over to a solid mass flywheel vs. dual mass flywheel, gear rollover is inevitable. Gear rollover noise is often heard when the vehicle is idling or under a load in low RPM ranges (often referred to as sounding like marbles in the transmission). This is completely normal.
Gear rollover noise is caused by reverse engine spike and can in most cases be drastically reduced by simply changing the oil in the transmission or reducing engine spike produced by inadequate engine components (ex. misfiring injector, FCA problems, Electronic programming). The oil recommended by the transmission manufacture Mercedes-Benz is Mobil Delvac Synthetic Transmission Fluid 50. We at Valair Inc. recommend draining completely and refilling with 7 quarts. Only 6 quarts will fit when utilizing the fill hole, the final quart will need to be filled through the shift tower.

G56 dual disk organic quiet. Junk out the box, been trying to get help with them, did what they asked, and been 2 weeks, still nothing from both parties. Will definitely not buy from them again and valiar service guy is rude, poor service, never again will I buy from them

Everything fits perfectly and installation is a breeze. Definitely high quality. The clutch does ship assembled which was kind of an issue because the 2 nuts and lock washers holding the pressure plate on, completely destroyed themselves upon removal. I mean it is nice to know the hardware works properly, but it would be kind of nice if valair anticipated this and provided extra hardware for the 2 studs that retain the pressure plate. 4 stars for the product however, 5 stars for XDPs customer service. I was missing an item with my shipment and they were very quick to resolve the issue.

Finally got my engine in and running with this new clutch installed and got my first experience and impressions of the clutch. Relatively no noise other than the typical single mass flywheel noises. Engagement is aggressive but can easily be daily driven as the pedal feel is smooth and not really heavy as you would expect. Very happy with the purchase and have good faith that after the break in she will hold up to moderate to heavy towing with no issues.

Holds great truck should be right around 600hp, tows good, but it is a lil aggressive just takes a little learning to drive it! Shifts good and holds great! Was very quiet when first installed and after about 1k miles it started to make some noise but still quieter then ur average dual disc! Would recommend to anyone
