Upgrade the OEM clutch in your 1994-2003 Dodge 5.9L Diesel 5-Speed with the superior Valair Street Dual Disc Clutch NMU70NV45DDSN. The Street Dual Disc offers more holding power and a wider range of use over a single disc clutch, while retaining similar driving characteristics. With a 3800lb diaphragm style pressure plate quick shifts are still possible while pedal pressure will be just over stock.
Ceramic
The Ceramic Street Dual Disc is best suited for daily driven trucks that have performance modifications up to 650HP that do see some racing or hard use. Light towing is possible; clutch engagement will be somewhat aggressive but tolerable.

This clutch fit perfectly. I thought it was gonna be hard to put it all in myself but it was surprising easily. One thing I do wish that came with the clutch is a new clutch fork retaining clip, other than that the clutch is amazing.

I installed a south bend in my dually and it was slightly noisy but it still is an extremely good clutch. 100k miles 60k of towing and the rest of pure neglecting and still holds very strong. Bit the bullet and got the valir installed in my 3/4 ton. Same 650hp dual disk. HOLDS AMAZING but the sound. The sound is deathly. It sounds like your whole truck is about to fall apart. Windows up radio all the way up you can’t hear it then. But everyone within a 50ft radius will hear the AWFUL rattle that this clutch makes. Wish I would’ve just went with south bend again. 😤

Extremely easy engagement with minimal pressure. I love the clutch but I’m a little upset about the valair hydros that didn’t fit my 02 like it said it would. Besides having to use my stick slave cylinder I’m pumped
