Description
The AFE 46-70032 Dana 80 Differential Cover brings performance engineering to the protection of your truck's rear-end. This differential cover has a 5 quart lube capacity (factory cover holds 4 quarts) at the factory line, a magnetic drain plug, a magnetic tipped fill plug for maximum rear-end protection. Built-in internal and external fins transfer heat from the fluid to the outside air for maximum cooling. AFE has also designed a large oil level sight glass with calibration plug set to the factory fluid level to eliminate overfilling. This differential cover is constructed out of durable die-cast A380 aluminum with reinforced ribs and a wrinkle black powder coating for maximum strength and styling. This cover fits Dana #80 axles. This cover uses an RTV Silicone Gasket for a leak-free seal.
Increased Oil Capacity:
This cover has an increased oil capacity over stock for better performance over a longer duration.
Built-in Internal/External Fins:
Built-in internal and external fins transfer heat from the oil to the outside air for greater cooling capabilities.
Magnetic Plugs:
PRO Series Differential Covers include magnetic drain and deep-reach fill plugs to capture loose particles for maximum protection.
Calibration Plug:
Included calibration plug is located at a specific height preventing overfilling and taking the guess work out of servicing your axle.
Oil Level Sight Glass:
PRO Series oil level sight glass allows for quick and easy oil inspection.
Mounting Hardware:
All necessary mounting hardware is included. Includes RTV silicone gasket.

Anyone looking at purchasing anything from AFE power might think twice. This is a brand-new torque converter I ordered directly from AFE. I sent it in with my transmission “to the transmission shop” and had them check the balance and runout before installing. It was out of balance and tolerance on runout. They said it would have wrecked my new transmission if I would have installed it on that alone. I tried to get ahold of AFE service department and could not get ahold of anyone. So I told the transmission shop to fix the issues so I could get it installed. This is what they opened up. Full of rust!!! What junk. They finally got back to me and told me that it has been “modified” and that they do not warranty anything that has been opened up or modified. I had to purchase a second converter from a reputable company. So just a warning to everyone before you dump $$$$ into AFE power products.
