Description
Don't let the factory 68RFE Transmission hold you back in your vehicle, upgrade it with the BD-Power Tow & Street 68RFE Transmission. Like many Dodge Ram owners that have already pushed the limits of their transmissions, the BD-Power 68RFE is built to take on what your factory transmission cannot, while still providing smooth and sharp shifts. This transmission package includes the BD-Power 68RFE Pressure Controller and a BD-Power Deep Sump transmission oil pan. Torque converter not included.

Some highlights of the BD-Power 68RFE:
- Hard anodized valve body and new solenoid pack installed in every unit
- Custom valve body separator plate with gaskets increases line pressure while stopping internal cross leaks
- Heavy duty cam & roller design low reverse one way clutch
- New 4C billet spring retainer
- Steel girdle added to 2C piston to allow for more clutches and broader apply area
- BD durable QT100 pressure plates allow for increased clutch counts and reduce deflection and distortion within the clutch drum
- Clutch count increased to hold high torque level - Over Drive 17% increase, Under Drive 20%, 2C 33% increase
- BD reinforced accumulator plate
- TCC limit valve machined and sleeved to address high wear area with in pump
- BD Deep sump oil pan adds extra fluid and cooling capacity while reducing case flex
- BD ProTech68 pressure control module ramps up line pressure to 250 psi using MAP sensor to input load and adjust pressure required
Warranty Note:
A new BD-Power Torque Converter must be installed at the time of installation of a BD-Power Transmission. Use of a 3rd party or OE Torque Converter will void transmission warranty.

Sent back for warranty its ben nothing but troubles so for its over 2 months still no trans back

I bought this trans for my truck and after the second one in a year blew they refused to Honor their warantee again! So here I was after spending all this money and left completely screwed! The second transmission lasted 1 month and didn't shift right from day one, when I called them they said it was normal and when it blew up a month later they said they would not warantee it because I am "obviously abusive". DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

**You must perform a transmission quick learn, in order for the TCM to recalibrate to the new CVI indexes. This can be accomplished with a newer scan tool.**

What kind of horsepower rating do you give the trans? My truck is a work truck but at times ill turn it up and play.

As a daily drive/tow vehicle will easily hold between 500-700HP. (Beating on the truck from traffic light to traffic light would require a little more beefing up of the trans.)
