Description
The AFE 46-20172 BladeRunner GT Series Intercooler Kit for your 2014-2015 Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel represents the next generation of intercoolers. The BladeRunner intercoolers utilize a 3" bar and plate core design that is larger than stock and outflows OE intercooler by 15%!
End Tanks:
The unique BladeRunner end tanks are constructed out of 3/16'' TIG-Welded aluminum plates.
3" Bar and Plate Core Design:
The use of the bar and plate core design allows for greater airflow.
Billet Aluminum Inlet/Outlets:
This BladeRunner Intercooler uses 3" billet aluminum inlets and outlets for superior strength and durability.
Tig-Welded:
100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability. TIG-Welding provides the strongest welds reducing stress cracks.
Flow and Performance:
The intercooler tubes provided are constructed of 3" mandrel bent powder-coated aluminum tubing for maximum flow. Smooth transition bends allow for low turbulence, increasing horsepower, torque and lowering EGTs. Comes complete with 5-ply heavy duty couplings and high quality stainless steel clamps for a tight and secure installation.
Condensation Drain:
The intercooler includes a 1/8" NPT brass breather vent, which drains condensation from the intercooler. The port can also be plugged using the included 1/8" NPT plug.
Pressure Tested:
The BladeRunner Intercooler is pressure test rated at 200psi which is perfect for high boost applications.

Got this kit for my 2016 Ram and it definitely took some work to install. Great appearance and high quality parts! Truck has more spunk in the lower RPMs and has a bit more growl under acceleration. Had to take a saw to the plastic elbow coming off the turbo to make it work on the 2016 but I didn't need any additional parts.
