Description
The AFE 46-70082 Pro Series Dana 60 Differential Cover bring performance engineering to front axle in your 1999-2016 Ford F-Series Super Duty. This differential cover is constructed out of durable die-cast A380 aluminum with reinforced ribs and wrinkle black powder-coating for maximum strength and styling. This cover comes with all necessary hardware and includes an O-ring for a leak-free seal. This cover fits the Dana #60-FF axles.
Built-In Cooling Fins:
Built-in external fins transfer heat from the fluid to the outside air for maximum cooling.
Magnetic Drain/Fill Plug:
This cover incorporates a large magnetic drain and fill plug that captures loose particles for maximum differential protection.
Oil Level Sight Glass:
Pre-installed large oil level sight glass with calibration plug set to the factory fluid level to eliminate overfilling.

This cover is so much larger than the factory it's actually a little hard to install between the diff and the steering. The sight glass that came with to check fluid level should be on the other side, it would be easier to see. I purchased this cover only to make it easier to change fluid with a drain and fill hole, which it does, unlike the factory cover.

AFE does not specify the exact amount of oil the AFE POWER DANA 60 DIFFERENTIAL COVER 46-7008X will hold.
However, as per the installation instructions: “Fill the aFe differential cover using new oil. Fill till the oil runs out of the 1/8” NPT plug on the side of the differential cover.”
Due to the various dual steering stabilizer kits available there is no way for us to say for sure if the AFE POWER DANA 60 DIFFERENTIAL COVER 46-7008X will fit or will not fit.
