not that great

There is better products out there. The xdp one is probably better. All this kit does is eliminate the cooler and not the valve itself, as there was not egr valve plate and you can see that in the picture but is stated in the description. The welds were perfect and the machine work was great. But why in the hell would they have such great machine work and have no idea how big of hose to use. Mine leaked until I got the right sized silicone hose. On the bright side with the valve still being in place it doesn't throw a code. And don't be alarmed by the other guys 20+ hour install I did mine and a new oil cooler in about 12 hours. Six of which were flushing the radiator afterwards. A lot of crap is these trucks and a good flush is important.

Obviously this wasn't going to be a quick delete. It took me and 5 people more than 24 hours of working (12+ hours a day) to delete the EGR. We had to cut several bolts off that ended up getting striped. Somehow we managed to even cut off the bolt on the very back of the turbo. And even one or two on the old up-pipe. Then we had to cut the egr cooler in half because the intake manifold prevented us from pulling it out anymore. Once we got it all off. It took about an hour to get this part situated properly. After that it took around 2-3 hours to put it back together, as compared to 20 hours of taking it apart. But as the instructions say, you don't need to remove the manifold, just loosen the bolts. It is also easier to remove the exhaust down-pipe to get to that rear bolt on the turbo, which we used 3 new bolts, but reused the spacers. After the instillation, there was no leaks or anything. So it was a good install. Also if you do an egr delete, you should have a topside creeper. Its worth the money, and its better than lying on top of the engine for 20 hours with pillows.
