Description
The AFE 49-42041 MACH Force XP Dual 2-1/2" Filter-Back Exhaust System for your 2014-2018 Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel is built from 2-1/2" mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing for increased flow, performance and durability!
Flow and Performance:
This MACH Force-Xp exhaust system is 100% hand MIG-welded and constructed of 2-1/2'" mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing for maximum flow. The smooth transition bends allow for low turbulence, increasing horsepower, torque and lowering EGTs. A mitered merge collector is also incorporated to eliminate dead space that can cause turbulence and hinder flow that formed collectors are prone to produce.
Perfect Fit:
This system uses all factory mounting locations providing stability and hassle-free installation. Includes OE-style bayonet hangers which are used to maintain a stable pipe location during high vibration and high heat conditions. The bayonet tip holds the hanger bushing in place for an OE-style fit that does not change with time.
4-1/2" Angle-Cut Rolled Edge Polished Clamp-On Tips:
Finishing off the exhaust are your choice of dual 4-1/2" Polished or Black clamp-on tips. Both tips features a unique laser-cut aFe Power logo plate is riveted on for an aggressive style.
All aFe exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured in our Corona, California manufacturing facility.

How does it sound?

The system will offer a much better appearance and a small amount of sound over your stock system. (The DPF and Catalytic converter soften the sound of the engine.)
What effect will this have on the Ram Manufacture's warranty?

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)). For best results, consider working with performance-oriented dealerships with a proven history of working with customers.

The manufacture is unable to provide us with actual HP & TQ gains at this time. There are very minimal Horsepower, Torque and Sound increases with the factory DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) emissions in place. (The system will offer more aesthetics and a slight increase in sound.)
