The AFE Mach Force XP Turbo Down-Pipe 49-44034 will improve exhaust flow in your 2006-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax LLY/LBZ/LMM. The Mach FORCE XP turbo down-pipe is designed to perform in the harshest environments. This down-pipe is manufactured from 3" mandrel bent 409 stainless steel tubing for maximum flow and is ceramic coated. Smooth transition bends allow for low turbulence, quicker turbo spool times and lower EGTs.
Installation:
This direct-fit downpipe uses the stock mounting locations to provide stability and ease of installation.
Leak-Free Seal:
For a complete 360 degree sealing surface, high-quality OE style CNC-machined flanges are used.
Finish:
This down-pipe is ceramic coated internally and externally. This coating was developed by the aerospace industry is used to reduce under hood temperatures by insulating the stainless steel tubing. The satin aluminum finish is chip and heat resistant up 1600 degrees.

I installed this product on a tuned 08 duramax that already had a complete straight pipe. I could not be more disappointed with how it turned out. The truck used to scream at wide open throttle, but now it just sounds like a loose fart. Fitment was a struggle as well. The bracket that bolts to the passenger manifold wasn't long enough and didn't reach the factory bolt hole. Literally the one bolt that I needed didn't reach. Also a side note your trans dipstick tube will not fasten to the two bell housing studs anymore so at best you'll have to zip tie it. In the next week or two I'll be reinstalling the factory downpipe as the "performance benefits" don't come close to justifying the time and money spent, not to mention the loss of sound from the exhaust.

this is a must for a Dmax. if you have any upgrades to your truck buy this one next. the stock one for 01-07s are utter garbage. this woke my 06 up even with the stock exhaust. does take some time to install but well worth the money. their are cheaper ones than this but I like the fact that this one is coated inside and out and if you still want to wrap it you can
