The AFE 54-10412 Magnum Force Stage 2 Cold Air Intake System w/Pro 5R Filter produces up to 18HP and up to 24 lbs. x ft. torque while outflowing the factory intake by up to 117% on your Dodge Ram. This intake is a highly engineered heat-shielded air box with a one-piece intake tube. Handling filter duties is the PRO 5R performance air filter that features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media. The PRO 5R filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T). Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle free installation.
High-Temp Silicone Coupling: This coupling is designed to meet modern elevated engine compartment temperatures with a 4-ply silicone reinforced configuration.
Durable Heat Shield: A one-piece powder-coated heat-shield is used to keep the air intake charge cool and dense.
4" 360 Degree Air Filter: An inverted cone 360 degree round air filter is used for maximum flow and performance filtration (98.6% efficient). The PRO 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.
Hassle-Free Installation: aFe has developed this intake to provide a hassle-free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations.

Bought this for my 2006 and it is working great. The turbo is very loud if you remove the silencer ring. Install was for the most part fine but you need some small fingers to get some of the nuts on. Overall great choice.

I put This intake on my 03 and it made such a bigger difference in sound I love the way the turbo spools not and got a little bump in mpg. Pull your turbo silencer ring out if you want it louder that’s what I did and it sounds so good you can hear is sucking a lot of air at idle
