AIRAID Filter Company has leveled the power playing field for the 7.3L with the development of an all-new Cold Air Dam Intake System for the 7.3-liter that allows the engine to breathe deeper, resulting in big horsepower and torque gains. The new system replaces the restrictive factory air box setup with an AIRAID Cold Air Dam which also incorporates a heavy-duty battery tray, complete with urethane battery pad. At the heart of this system is a HUGE 1700-CFM washable and reusable Premium Air Filter that is available with either SynthaFlow Oiled filtration technology along with a specially shaped intake tube that feeds the Power Stroke turbo inlet.
All AIRAID filters are hand-poured using a special urethane blend that prevents cracking and shrinkage in the most extreme conditions. On the dyno, the new Cold Air Dam Intake System for the 7.3-liter generated an additional 27 horsepower and a whopping 55 lb/ft of torque to the rear wheels at a real-world 1900 rpm, about where most diesel driving is conducted. The system is a must for Power Stroke owners considering other upgrades such as a programmer or chip, and aftermarket exhaust system.

Box arrived best to hell (Shippers fault) but at least it was still sealed. The issue is my intake kit I ordered was missing the insulation gasket that goes on top of the shield and the stamped shield pieces were damage, I'm assuming during shipping. But regardless it could have been packed better with all east some protection inside. Everything was loose bouncing around and got damaged. Disappointing considering how much this cost compared to others.
