The PureFlow AirDog A4SPBD004 150GPH Air/Fuel Separation System for your 1998.5-2004 Dodge 5.9L Cummins provides the most effective technology designed specifically to remove water, particulates, vapor and entrained air from the diesel fuel in your truck. The AirDog is a lift pump and filtration system, that enhances the fuel delivery to your engine with a commercial duty system.
Your high performance diesel engine demands higher fuel flows. Yet higher fuel flows increase the vacuum at the fuel pump and agitation in the fuel tank. These factors generate additional air/vapor in the fuel system preventing your engine from producing maximum power and efficiency. Additionally, air/vapor can cause galling and pitting of the injector barrel/plunger assembly and also tip erosion. The AirDog eliminates air in the fuel that robs your engine of consistently greater performance and can also cause permanent damage to your injectors. The AirDog also provides the fuel pressures and flows your diesel engine needs to produce maximum power, any time, every time!
The Airdog works by pulling fuel from the fuel tank containing entrained air/vapor, particulate contaminates and unknown quantities of moisture. The fuel passes through the water separator which removes the water and large particulate contaminates. Then, the fuel with only entrained air/vapor and tiny particulate contaminates remaining, enters the fuel pump. Under positive pressure flow, the fuel passes through the fuel filter and the remaining particulate contaminates are caught and contained, the entrained air/vapor is also separated and returned to the tank. The clean fuel is now free of contaminants and water and flows at the proper pressures up to your engine. Each kit includes plumbing, hardware, wiring harness, mounting bracket and all components needed for installation.

So, already had the 150gph pump but mine quit for whatever reason couldnt find just the pump so I bought the whole kit. Installed the pump and the new wiring harness, everything worked for about 3 days. The main battery power chunk of the harness shorted out. Idk how lost power so fixed that. Then found out the ecu I guess wasnt registering the 5 volts in order to turn the pump on...so unfortunately and I apologize I had to hard wire the pump. Whoever did the wiring did an awesome job. But rewired the pump harness had to run the trigger (the wire that turns the pump on) inside the cab to a fuse so anytime the key comes on the pump comes on. Works fine. Fyi remember if u do this the vp44 doesnt like pressure without the engine running. So down the line when I get the time I'll rewire the trigger wire to a toggle. Other then that little fun mess everything works great and my truck is still alive. If I need more parts I'll probably order from here shipping was quick parts were high quality and my person favorite they included a sticker! If your gonna spend the $700+ I feel a company should include a sticker. Thank you guys!
