Description

The PureFlow AirDog II-4G A6SABC409 DF-165-4G Air/Fuel Separation System for your 2001-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax is the next generation in the fuel delivery system, resulting in a long lasting, efficient and quiet lift pump. The compact AirDog II-4G provides the most effective technology designed specifically for diesel pickups to remove water, particulates, vapor and entrained air from diesel fuel, all while increasing power and performance.

The design of the patented AirDog II-4G features many innovative improvements for increased pump performance, less noise and less maintenance. The AirDog II-4G utilizes an intermediate pump shaft that moves the electric motor away from the fuel. This eliminates any potential for wet motors due to a damaged or leaking seal. The motors self-aligning capability requires less maintenance and increases the systems endurance, resulting in a longer pump life. The low amperage motor also provides longer drivability and contributes to a significant reduction in noise.

AirDogĀ® is proud to announce that the AirDog II-4GĀ® is the quietest fuel system in the diesel market!

Features:
  • Preset @ 8 PSI
  • Supports 500HP-800HP
  • Flows 165 Gallons Per Hour
  • Improved Throttle Response
  • Smoother Idle & Acceleration

Almost installed itself. Immediate MPG gains even with my foot to the floor. Reduced the black soot when accelerating. Installed on an LMM and it does everything it claims. Order #1681763

Great product, definitely helped get more fuel to the pump so I could use my tunes without starving the truck. Easy to install as well just took time to run all the lines the way I'd like it.

Questions and Answers

Is there a pressure regulator available for this pump? AirdogII-4G
View Staff Answer
Answer
The AirDogĀ® II-4G systems do not offer an adjustable regulator.
It will run, but most argue that is not a "flow through" design.
Can I run the AirdogII-4G on a stock setup?
View Staff Answer
Answer
No it will not hurt the truck, but it could cause you headaches down the road. Running too much fuel to an injection pump that can't handle it can cause an increase in fuel pressure, which on some trucks could cause damage to that injection pump and possibly cause it to fail. Running a pump to fit your horsepower is suggested and will help keep you away from small potential issues.
