The PureFlow AirDog II-4G A6SABF489 DF-165-4G Air/Fuel Separation System for your 2011-2016 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke is the next generation in the fuel delivery system, resulting in a long lasting, efficient and quiet lift pump. The compact AirDog II-4G provides the most effective technology designed specifically for diesel pickups to remove water, particulates, vapor and entrained air from diesel fuel, all while increasing power and performance.
The design of the patented AirDog II-4G features many innovative improvements for increased pump performance, less noise and less maintenance. The AirDog II-4G utilizes an intermediate pump shaft that moves the electric motor away from the fuel. This eliminates any potential for wet motors due to a damaged or leaking seal. The motors self-aligning capability requires less maintenance and increases the systems endurance, resulting in a longer pump life. The low amperage motor also provides longer drivability and contributes to a significant reduction in noise.

Installed this with a brand new fuel system on my 2016 f250. Install was very easy, maybe an hour tops. Very simple straight forward install. Just another step in maintaining good filtered fuel. Installed 1 of these (4G) about 8 months ago on a customers truck. Was extremely pleased so I bought one for my truck when I had to replace the fuel system.

Excellent fuel systems. I have used airdog for years never had a problem with any of them right out of the box. I can not say the same for other fuel systems. I have only had to do one warranty repair on one years ago and it was handled quickly so have absolutely no complaints about these guys and their products. They work excellent.

The pump itself is great! It’s way quieter than the stock pump and is really easy to install. It really made me realize how much fuel my truck eats after getting rid of that stock unit. For any confused 6.7 owners: you need to remove the water content sensor from the stock housing (light gray plastic sensor) and leave it connected to the harness or else you’ll get a WATER IN FUEL code. Coat the sensor prongs in some di-electric grease and seal it up with something (I used a ziplock bag). If you leave the code active for too long, your truck will result to reduced power mode. Airdog Customer service was great at helping me figure it out, @james with Airdog.
