Description
The ATS 2024022392 Aurora VFR 4000 Stage 2 Turbocharger is designed to be a drop in, upgraded replacement for the stock turbo in your diesel. This turbo comes with an 11-blade 64mm billet compressor wheel with extended tips that weighs 25 grams less than the stock wheel. The HSM (high silicon molybdenum) bearing housing and HSM turbine housing provide improved corrosion resistance, structural stability, and tensile strength. The new maintenance free actuator does not require cleaning plus the upgraded solid-state electronics improve the dependability of this turbo. The billet 316 stainless steel unison rings will not get warped or stuck regardless of driving technique.

Purchased in Dec 2022, order # 1883534, was put on the truck by the Mechanic in March 2023 and only has ~ 5,000 miles on it and blowing exhaust everywhere. The mechanic thought it was only a gasket but discovered a cracked turbo.
