The product was easy to install and keeps temps 15-25 degrees cooler under normal driving conditions. My tranny ran about 200 before instal and now runs 175-180, which are the factory recommended temps. Any up hill , high load, or high ambient temps and it climbs right back to 200 or higher. The transmission pan comes with a plug for the temp probe port, a paper gasket, relocation bracket for the filter and Allen key hardware to bolt the pan on.

This thing is HEAVY was really surprised at the size of this pan. Looks good the extra piece of mind knowing the filter has plenty of fluid all the time and the cooler Temps are well worth it. I really liked that it has a plug for the temp unit because I use a test port for my Temps. Very easy install AND NO MORE RED WAVE

I purchased this pan for my 98 24 valve and didn't notice a difference in temperature at all.. As far as the product itself it's great.. I'm just bummed it didn't lower my temps.

Will the trans fluid read over full on the dip stick since the pan allows more to be held?

Answer
Check fluid level. If level is low, add fluid in increments of 0.25 quarts to bring level to MIN mark on dipstick. Check to see if oil level is equal on both sides of dipstick. If one side is noticeably higher than other, the dipstick has picked up some oil from the dipstick tube. Allow oil to drain down dipstick tube and re-check. Add fluid until the correct level is achieved (fluid should be up to MAX arrow mark on dipstick. (Do not overfill transmission; fluid foaming and shifting problems can result.)
