Installed and fixed my shifting problem. This was the second time that I would have had to replace the mopar governor solenoid. Only time will tell if this part will stand up to the test of time. The mopar solenoid only lasted 10,000 miles…..I also adjusted both my bands and replaced the pressure switch. So to be honest, I don’t know if the pressure switch went bad or the solenoid because both times I replaced both. This conversation definitely looks beefier and the solenoid is larger. Easy to put in just take your time so the fluid can drain.

I swapped this part in with a new sensor because my truck wouldn’t drive past 30mph and it is the best money I’ve ever spent. It shifts so smoothly now and my power is back. 47RE 1999 Dodge Ram 2500

This solenoid shifts so much faster and firmer!! Feels like a new transmission!! Knows exactly what gear along with the brass BD-Power transducer which is a must. Was hesitant to spend the money on these but best thing I’ve done with my transmission!!
