Description
The ATS 3139102104 Basic Transmission Overhaul Kit for your 1989-2002 Dodge 618, 47RH, and 47RE. Includes all rings and seals, filter, intermediate band with billet strut, all forward, direct and overdrive clutches, overdrive bearing with a new race, and our billet accumulator piston.
Note: Core Charges include OD Brake Pressure Plate, Top Pressure Plates for the Forward and Direct Clutches, and the Forward Pressure plate.

if i were to install this and put in a new tourqe converter, would it be just as good as a aftermarked transmission if i were to install this and put in a new tourqe converter, would it be just as good as a aftermarked transmission? I have a 2001 cummins 24v with 113,300 miles and it is the stock transmission. no real problems with it yet. I want to fix it before something happens.

Maybe not as good as a completely built aftermarket transmission with a 5Yr/500,000 mile warranty, but certainly much better than stock. The Basic Kit from ATS offers all rings and seals, filter, intermediate band with billet strut, all forward, direct and overdrive clutches, overdrive bearing with a new race, and our billet accumulator piston. If you plan on putting some big power to the truck you’d want to consider the billet shafts and flex plate as well.
