This data module allows the user to create a custom virtual dashboard using the completely revamped Auto Meter DashLink II app using the plug & play OBDII dongle. The Dashlink lets you take advantage of Auto Meter’s decades of instrumentation and data acquisition expertise to transform your Android or iOS-equipped device’s display into a completely customizable monitoring system.
This AutoMeter 6036 DashLink II OBDII Wireless Data Module offers performance monitoring and data logging as well as the ability to monitor fuel economy and emissions parameters. From 0-60 MPH to ¼ mile times, ambient air temps to MAP readings, to the built-in accelerometer, this data module will help you get the most performance out of your vehicle. When you are not wringing your vehicle on the track, this data module can assist you with fuel economy by monitoring such parameters as idle time, fuel consumed, instant fuel economy, and average fuel economy. With the ability to read and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) codes, this data module will help keep your vehicle running as it should.
The Auto Meter 6036 DashLink II OBDII Wireless Data Module offers a ton of new features, including the ability to post results straight to Facebook, user-selectable background colors, user-adjustable alarms/alerts with sound, automatic data-logging engagement when certain conditions are met (pedal position >50%, MPH above 70, etc.), and GPS track mapping with line coloration by user selectable PID (instantaneous MPG, HP/torque, pedal position, etc.).
